      Former Resident Dies At The Coast
      Mrs. Samuel Ball formerly of Manitoulin Dies at Vancouver
      Vancouver, B.C., March 24-The death occurred here today of Mrs. Samuel Ba ll in her 81st year. Mrs. Ball was the wife of the late Samuel Ball who ca me to this Island from England in 1883 where he was the Chemist and denti st in Little Sutton.
      He had the drug store in Manitowaning for a short time, then moved to Litt le Current where he was the Druggist for some years. The family then mov ed inland to Silver Bay where they lived until 1911 when Mr. and Mrs. Ba ll went to England and Scotland to visit their relatives and where he died .
      Since the death of her husband Mrs. Ball has been living with her son and daughter in Calgary and latterly in Vancouver. She leaves behind two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Smeltzer now of Vancouver and Mrs. George Hopkin of T ehkummah and one son, Joseph Ball now of Vancouver; also two brothers, W. H. Riley of London, England and R. T. Riley of Winnipeg, and one sis ter, Miss H. T. Riley of Vancouver.
